10. How do I measure my space properly for installation?
For Retractable Awnings, measure the width and projection (how far out it will extend). For Zipper Shade Screens, measure the exact desired width and the exact desired height of your shade. Refer to our “How to Measure” guide.
11. Do I need a professional for installation?
Not necessarily. We provide detailed step-by-step installation guides. Still, for larger or motorized models, hiring a professional installer ensures perfect setup and peace of mind.
12. What should I do to prepare for winter?
Retract your awning during storms. Our Luxury Fell Cassette Awnings do not need an awning cover like other awnings. Cool Space awnings full luxury cassette protects your awnings material and components from the elemnts. Simply retract the awning to the closed position, it's that simple! store your awning in its fully closed position during harsh weather.
13. Can I install a motor on a manual model later?
Yes! We offer upgrade kits to convert manual awnings to motorized ones—adding convenience without replacing the whole unit.
14. How well does the product hold up in strong wind?
With the included wind sensor, the awning will automatically retract in high winds (Fully adjustable to your needs). Always retract manually during severe weather for added safety.
15. Can I adjust the pitch of the awning after installation?
Yes—you can tweak the arm angle to adjust pitch for better coverage or runoff. Our installation guide walks you through the process easily.

Cool Space Shading come standard with Wind and Rain sensors as well as LED lighting. Our Awnings come with all the upgrades others charge hundreds of dollars extra for. Add'l remote controls are available as a spare or backup remote.
